The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon Church) was recently honored for donating 1.8 million dollars to the Red Cross. There has been a long standing partnership to both these insitition. It is certain that both are dedicated to helping those who are in need. Thanks to the recent documentery "Meet the Mormons", the LDS Church was able to donate a large sum of money to continue to help aid those in need.

"During World War I, the Church’s women’s Relief Society organization joined with the Red Cross as they participated in food production and conservation, fund drives, sanitation, child welfare work and other service" the article states and it has "also collaborated with the Red Cross in the early 1900s when more than 10,000 Relief Society sisters completed Red Cross courses in home nursing, first aid and nutrition."
